Chester is a multi-talented international dancer of tap and jazz, band leader, choreographer, lecturer, historian, comedian, actor, stuntman, Kung Fu master and has even studied cinematography. In 1974, a chance encounter with famed tap dancer Fayard Nicholas (The Nicholas Brothers) changed his life. Eventually, Fayard became his teacher and mentor. Besides constantly traveling around the world teaching tap and swing, he is a busy performer, having appeared in countless stage shows and many films. He’s worked with famous artists such as Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, Prince, Usher, Jackie Chan, Savion Glover, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Duke Ellington, and has performed and taught along with many of the original Lindy Hoppers.
